somehow this video found me while I’m also suffering through a cold and honestly it was really comforting to see someone else living their life and being cozy and resting while being sick while i had 4 hours of university classes today :,) idk if that makes any sense but the vibes are immaculate and i’m so glad I ended up here.

Recently finished White Album and The Year of Magical Thinking, both of which I enjoyed. They say you can't get full value from the former unless it's read in tandem with some Babbitz but ofc idk. I just wanted to mention a line often mentioned in the two books (with altered phrasing naturally) that went something like: "He was rereading [such and such] for the fourth time, trying to understand how and why it works." I, myself, do tend at times to inhale what I read and I took that as a message to relax a little and spend some quality time reading. Good luck on your new book, and hope you're able to avoid any new infections. : )

This was so cozy, love it! I started Perfume, but it was the audiobook from the library and it feels like the kind of book that you really need to physically read, and I wanted to annotate it, so I DNFed at the time. I still really want to read the physical version!

I was just telling a friend yesterday that I can’t take cold medicine for the same reason. Glad it’s not just me! I have been fighting a sinus/ respiratory infection too for over a week now and am on antibiotics. But I use a lot of natural remedies as well. Barely sleeping either because I can’t breathe. 😔 Hope you feel better soon. ♥️

I started Perfume omg embarrassing but like 2 years ago and am still at the halfway point. I haven't picked it up in forever but it's so visceral I remember everything so well.
