Fun fact: the car Fenella is driving is a Morris Cowley, which Agatha christie did own. the cars were limited to 20mph/32km, presumably for safety, but can go around 50mph/80km.

I would be cacking it to be behind the wheel of one of those cars. I assume there's some double de-clutching involved alongside driving knowing that anything could damage a priceless car that isn't easily repaired.

Comedy duo Bob and Ray did a short film of a car chase where the two cars are stuck in bumper to bumper traffic most if the time. But it has the quick back and forth editing of a typical Hollywood car chase.

"Acting" is sitting in a car that is itself being pulled around while sitting on a trailer... and yet still making it look like you are doing the driving. Many other actors have failed at the task! The one that I still recall from my youth was Ephram Zimbalist Jr in 77 Sunset Strip. If anyone really swung the steering wheel around the way he used to, he would be all over the road. At best.

Knowing this type of car, wow. 😂 The pedals are all in the wrong place for modern standards. 😂 They're a different way round to newer cars. I'm still adjusting to my 1961 car, let alone one 30/40 years older.
