My daughter found my watch in my mums house whilst clearing out. Opened it up and changed the battery and it WORKS! did the learning function and it works

I had so much fun with one of these. I use it to change channels at Hospitals, Laundromats, Classrooms and anywhere someone had a TV with the remote hidden away from Patrons. I think I may still have it amongst the drawers and boxes in my house. I found that setting 11, 14, and 23 pretty work for a lot of TV.

Dont get back to TV mode keep it on LEARN mode and it will work and you shouldn't be that close to work, it works from distance as the TV Remote perfectly.

As somebody else said....keep it in learn mode to use your programmed functions. Not tv mode.

I had this watch when I was 13, left it in my backpack by the basketball court. It was stolen from me by a group of high school students when I wasn't looking. When I found out, I was so furious that I broke one's nose and gave the other a black eye. My arm was broken, we were separated by PE teachers but the watch was not found anyway, but in a high school that had a common pitch with my middle school I became very popular 🤣

Someone gifted me this watch decades ago and I never used that, yesterday I found and opened the box its still brand new but its straps became brittle, I replaced the straps then the corner of the watch body where strap pin sists broke, seems its material is decomposed.

I have tried on my modern tv and it didnt work, but if you are getting its not for the remote control function its becouse its cool

Some work, you can use the old codes from other brand. I have tried Samsung, Philips and LG. only basic functions work, on/off, channel and volume.

Another note on onn tv and their IR protocol is that the header gap is not accurate on learning devices i don't know why this is. And if the onn red light blinks when you have the tv on with the watch then you know your on the right modulation but timings are off.

It's not the battery lol. You are using it wrong. You learn the keys and you go back to Learn mode and stay like that and it will work. Don't go TV mode, that's for old TV. Keep it always in Learn.
