I've been interested in them since I saw a small flap on a goodwill auction a long time ago. The rounded buckle hardware made me worried that the late would be like the lightweight line and lightweights seem to be harder to rehab successfully (for me). I'm glad to hear they have thick leather, thank you for sharing that!

I love bags that have an equestrian look, and I can't believe I didn't know about this line. When I saw the 1998 picture of the three mahogany bags, I knew that was the color I'd want. For fun I went out on eBay and did a very specific search for a mahogany compartment bucket bag and there she was. So good! She'll be arriving in a week! I love your videos!

Recently picked up my first piece of the equestrian line, beautiful small flap bag. The “tack” Coach was referring to in that ad is that all equipment related to horses is called “tack” and includes saddles, bridles, stirrups, harnesses, bits, reins, etc. The buckles are definitely reminiscent of horse tack pieces. Thanks for your video!

I love these, I have 2 of the small flaps, and 2 of the zips. I think the leather on them is really nice (although the zip ones I have feel like a different type of leather than the small flaps - the zip bag leather has a firmer feel to it, while the small flaps feel more flexible). I find they have a very understated type of elegance to them!

Interesting. All of the ones I have are very thick and firmer. I know what you mean by flexible. So many different types of leather feels!

I am so sad seeing this video, only because I have been collecting the Equestrian line of bags, but now everyone will be buying them, they are so good! A couple things I would add. There are only 7 styles in the Equestrian collection, Small Flap, Zip, Drawstring, Slim Bucket, Large Flap (or just flap), Flap Shopper, and Compartment Bucket. The strap is lined, so it moves well when you move. The Slim Bucket, the Drawstring and the Compartment bucket come with a 39 1/2" strap while the Zip, Small Flap and Large Flap all have 51 1/2" strap, but they can be interchanged between the bags, so you can wear the drawstring (and others) crossbody. According to the catalogs only the Zip, Compartment and Large Flap came in Loden. I'll share a photo of all the Equestrian bags I have on the Eye Candy Facebook group page. You show off the bags so well!
