When Noel's dad decides to get married again, Noel isn't so sure he likes the idea. Gayle is running everything, changing the house around, and she doesn't like the terrific checked suit Noel has bought for the wedding.
The young lives on Degrassi Street are always rife with problems. Whether it's about sexuality, growing up, drugs or parents, there's always something going on in high school and at their homes. The long-running, multiple award-winning series follows the characters in a soap opera-type format as they endure the pangs of transitioning from childhood to adulthood.

I love watching all things Degrassi/Degrassi Street so, of course, I love watching these. Thank you for posting! I don’t know if you want to be chronologically accurate but the Roman Numeral year at the beginning shows MCMLXXXII which is 1982. Is there a reason you have it listed as 1979? Just curious. Thanks!

Apparently the show’s first episode ran in 1979 and they had an episode air on TV a few times a year until the final episode in 1986. There’s only 26 episodes total. So maybe they wrote 1979 because that was the year the show debuted even though this episode is from 1982

I hope I didn’t come off as hypercritical or micro-focused on the something so minute. It’s why I tried to be delicate with my question since words on a screen can sometimes come off as a challenge or snark. 😊

@@americangirl6029 You’re fine. I didn’t realize the show started in the 70s either. I always thought the late 80s Degrassi High was the original version but it was actually a spinoff of this show.
