It’s unfortunate that this elevator no longer works. I saw a news article posted in late August last year from the Roanoke times about the city taking legal action against the owners for not fixing the elevator.

Nice elevator. Its a pity that they won't fix the problems with it. Just goes to show that when an elevator gets to a certain age, its not cared about anymore. They they would go and modernise it. The character is gone from the elevator. Its sad to see this

Sadly the crappiest elevator in Roanoke. Very poorly maintained. I've ridden it twice and wondered both times will I get stuck in that thing.
