Nice job, I particularly like the machine tooled placard and the new control bracket. Mine is of a similar vintage but a floor model. It’s big and heavy. I may just paint mine, it runs true and works well. My dad was a machinist and he added 2 new handles making it like the one you bought.

Very cool, they don't make equipment like this anymore. Great job and would love to see the build on this. I am currently restoring an old Sears craftsman from the late 1940's. And I also just finished my 1977 shovelhead as well.

Dude, I gotta say sweet machine! That is an amazing find, and I'm glad to see someone restore it and make it a little more modern without losing its original taste. I also restored a 1953 Atlas No. 9325 bench top drill press that not a lot of other people seem to have. Plus the original owner built a custom stand for it complete with custom drawers and finished it in a mint green paint fitted with some brass hardware. I picked it up, restored it, and I love using it every chance that I can. Great video from a machine enthusiast.
