Vintage Emerson Hassock Fan

I have a little story about those fans: A long time ago at a building where my aunt use to work at they had probably about 2 dozen of these Emerson hassock fans and sadly they all got thrown out but for 1. My aunt saved one for me and it is probably one of my favorite fans I own now.

I just worked on one of these. The motor was replaced in the past but it still runs good.

Hey Matt! We have a #74646-AK and we LOVE it! Just cleaned it as it does collect dust and hair. Question for you - we’ve had it for years and when we were cleaning it we found a little tube on the top of the motor and one on the bottom, are those for oil? If so, what kind would you suggest? Thanks Matt!

Yes those are for oil. I'd use SAE-20 3-in- 1 oil red,white,blue bottle or zoom-spout oil.
