i doubt you still have the pieces but the one with the little knobs on it is supposed to have a stand. it rests on it and you just tip it. you dont have to pick it up then. its pretty cool

I have one similar to the tall one; mine says the name and "800" on the foot which is going for $900 on Ebay. I have been learning about "silver" sets which most aren't worth anything because the codes/letters/numbers tell you what it's really made of (silver/brass/electropalted silver or silver over nickle).

WM Rogers 800? I've seen plenty of those... Not worth anywhere near 900, unless someone gets confused and thinks it's 800 alloy silver.

I have over forty peices of silver plated hollow ware.more than half are tea pots do you recommend a silver polish that will get off really old tarnish.having trouble cleaning a few of the peices.thank you

Bring one liter of water, one tablespoon of baking soda and one piece of aluminum foil to a boil. Drop silverware in the pot for 10 seconds (longer if it's very tarnished), then remove using kitchen tongs. Magic! If built-up tarnish persists, make a thick paste with 1/4 cup baking soda and two tablespoons of water.

Can anyone help me I’ve a teapot that says copper on silver which to me would mean plated silver but what’s interesting is that it’s got the stamps a normal silver would have ?? There’s 3 stamps I can only make one out which is a kings crown 👑 and 2 more beside it but I can’t make out what the other stamps are but there’s defo some kind of copper on it and it says it too any info I’d love it’s very heavy and it’s not got the lid
