Hey Hey!
This video was taken from an Instagram live!
I made a small rig using the mid 60s Vibro Champ and a reverb head unit!
I ran it through the pedalboard I built and last weeks video
This video is a great example of how our use the Blues power to get my sound out of anything
Dig in.
Thanks for all the continued support!
Peace!

I just want to let you know that I’ve watched this video everyday for probably the past three weeks on my lunch break and inspired me to buy a 66’ Vibro champ last week. Your tone and playing have inspired me and opened my eyes to what 5 Watts in the right hands can do. One of the best Hendrix/SRV players I’ve seen on KZbin. They would be proud.

I have a Marshall jvm1 combo. It’s one whole watt and I crank the clean (plexi) channel and it’s heaven. The natural overdrive is awesome and 8 inch speakers can really sound great. I plug into a 12 inch speaker now and then but honestly I like the sound of an amp ready to blow up

Yeah my buddy had one and I plugged in my custom 22 and I dined everything on the amp except for the speed knob I kept that slow and everybody in the room thought it sounded like Hendrix. Of course we were playing purple Haze foxy lady and manic depression and of course it goes without saying that I'll say it anyways I'm not even close to the songwriting ability nor the playing ability of Hendrix. But this amp sounded so alive!!!

I am looking for a small amp to play at home without hurting my neighbors ears. I love the sound of your amp ! I wont go vintage because i haven t got the knowledge that you have. How about a 64 Princeton reverb that fender reissue? But each time they demo it, it is with a telecaster… Thanks for your answer and thoughts...

@FlyingTune 4 жыл бұрын
I'm curious to know...if you are using a reverb unit between your pedals and your amp, your fuzz and boost basically boost your reverb unit, not the amp. The reverb unit has "volume" and "gain" knobs??? thx for your time
@theriffwniksevigny5473
@theriffwniksevigny5473 4 жыл бұрын
In the video, and in pics, its a fender reverb unit from 1965 There is also a slap echo going on and off
@FlyingTune
@FlyingTune 4 жыл бұрын
@@theriffwniksevigny5473 Yeah saw that, but my comment was more about how the reverb unit react with the amp. For exemple, let say no pedal, just the unit and the amp. Is the output of the reverb unit push the amp?

I found a vintage 66 vibrochamp and the volume is super low compared to like a tweed champ even when I crank it to 10. Is that by design or could something be wrong?
@jerryyeaaah15

its gonna be real quiet compare to a tweed champ i think its just the added tonestack thats sucking the volume 😂my SF champ is really quiet compare to my 59 champ as well

That is the most rediculous tone I have ever heard out of a 5 watt amp ever. Granted your throwing pedals at it but thats pretty killer house jamming volume. To be honest that quite nasty.
