I remember several Corvairs around the neighborhood. I also remember Ralph Nader saying how dangerous they were. I brought in a nwsppr clipping of the govt coming to a different conclusion in ‘72. I was 12. Funny what we remember! My friend’s mother had a PINK CADILLAC. My mother drove a Plymouth Dart when I was really little, then a yellow Duster. My grandmother got a new Nova every few years. She was a working woman! And the old phones!! Great memories. Thanks, Kelly!😽🩷

Oh i love old cars - they're breathtaking! thanks for the pictures! My Dad had a Corvair, around 1963-4, but my Mom made him sell it for a family car.

Those are bud vases. The prices are so good there. I remember Look Magazine. I never have liked side by side refrigerator, but for 150.00 I could make do lol. Gosh, I remember our big ol blue station wagon when I was a little kid, but I don't know the name of it. My dad had a 1965 Volkswagen Beetle when I was in jr. high and I loved that little car.☺

Hi Kelly and yes, my parents had a burgundy Galaxy 500 and a 1964 Ford Falcon. That Galaxy 500 was a beast. My first car was a '71 Chevelle. My favorites today were the Mission style table w barley legs and the crystal. Beautiful and wonderful prices!!! ❤

When i was a child (temporarily living in Haiti), we had a green Chevrolet, must have been 1965. Which model it was, i can't remember. But it was green and we went to the drive-in cinema in the evening. I was sitting on the car roof. That was great! Greetings, (formerly Marie von.R.) from germany 😘

I so wish there were lots more of these stores. It would help others to have homes, keep things from the landfill and much more economical to recycle for those of us that enjoy thrifting. This store is always so well displayed, clean, neat and affordable. I used to love having to decorate an old shoe box for Valentine parties at school in the 60’s, so much fun and something we’ve never forgotten. Fun trip Kelly, thank you❤.

My eldest sister got a small, used Corvair when she went to college. About that time, Dad traded in the station wagon and got a convertible Impala, which meant with 5 kids I was ALWAYS in the back on the "hump"! I was the 5th kid, so I think that Impala was Dad's way of saying, "Enough!" Haha

Sure did have one of those cars, 1965 Fairlane 500 was my 1st car. I bought it used for $500 in 1972. Really enjoy your restore footage. Our restore in Ohio doesn't have that variety like yours and it's also quite a bit more expensive.

My dad had a 1956ford and I loved to lay down in the back glass area and I’d get warm and sometimes go to sleep. But dad let me get up there once in awhile while he was driving, and hit the brakes and I’d go flying to the floorboard. He wasn’t trying to kill me, he liked hearing me laugh!!!

I've been binge watching your videos and I am so jealous of your Restore stores in your area. There is one about 35 miles from me and it looks nothing like yours! Hardly no furniture and what they do have they want more than what you can go get new. Scrap wood, doors and windows. It's good if you need a 12" piece of trim for anything but that's about it. Most of the tile they do have are broken. Thank you for your videos!

My first car was a corvaire but the gearshift was hard to use I was left handed so difficult for me to learn how to drive it a friend stripped the gear’s driving it oh well moral to the story I did not learn how to drive untill I was in my thirties it was a automatic transmission thank goodness and I taught myself how to drive in a church parking lot at night because I lived in the parsonage of the church and took care of church and grounds I was also my church ganitor after awhile of living there well enough about me thanks again for the awesome job on the video today 😊😊😊😊❤❤

My mom had an old 65 Ford Galaxy I sat in at the same way it looked like you were in an airplane and had all the Chrome and everything in it yeah those were the days I'm 70 years old so yeah you talking about sitting in your dad's car took me right back to where I when I was a kid

Mom had the coolest cars way back She bought them 2nd hand .she found a Gentleman who owned a small car lot. I think she got all 3;cars from him different times of coarse.... She had a Coronet" I think the name ..Aqua color w white vinyl interior we went to Texas Gulf Coast in it I loved it then She got a lite green Charger it flew to the coast too and b4 both a Corvair " too Kelly it drove great all three cars awesome

Loved the white washed end table and the vanity! The vanity reminded me of a little play one I had when i was a little girl. The glassware was absolutely stunning! This vlog had a lot of end tables and coffee tables that were stunning! The Princess House set was gorgeous! Yes I remember making a mailbox for our Valentines Day cards. Also remember getting candy hearts with little sayings on them. My parents used to get me Russell Stover heart shaped box of chocolates. I used to love the chocolate covered cherries. 🍒 Loved to hear about you as a little girl pretending you’re going places in your dad’s old car. To be truthful I never liked my parents cars. I used to like old sports cars like early 60’s corvettes, 68-69 Cameros. Both of my parents wouldn’t drive those in a million years! lol!

We had a corvair. I believe it was made by Chevrolet. They had something wrong with the engine I think and were recalled. 😮 remember it smoked alot.😮

I’m starting to think we might be related lol! My dad had a little red Corsair when I was in high school. I actually don’t recall seeing him drive it though. That was around the time that Corvairs were labeled as safety hazards for some reason. Thanks for another great video! ❤

Are you a physical therapist or chiropractor? I wondered by your Razor comment. My family had 1965 Mustangs. My sister had a fastback and brother had a coupe. Back then they had special addition Pony package interiors. My first car was a used 1968 'Stang. Loved that car! In MN, my elementary school made valentine boxes from rectangle shoe boxes. We covered them with tissue paper and decorated with construction paper hearts. 💗🤍❤💕

I sure would love to have that 'Stang today! I had three Mustangs altogether: '67 & 68 coupes, and a '70 fastback. We really are a Mustang family. It has even carried into the next generation. My nephew has a shop in NC that makes Mustang aftermarket hotrods. @@comegowithmetoday

The prices are fantastic! Here in Toronto area the so called ‘crystal’ candlesticks are 4.99 a piece. And they are the small ones. No comparison to what goodies you are showing. Not Habitat but Value Village which is for profit. And the stores are not so nice.
