i graduated from hemet, my grandparents bought their house there in 89 i cant believe how bad the town is now and how much it has changed Edit: just watched this again and cant believe I missed it but my grandpa of all people is driving in front of them in his pickup at the end of this, a lady tboned him by the lake while it was still being made when he was leaving the flea market and totalled that truck and he ended up getting another, he loved the little toyota trucks after the military also fun fact small part of the first fast and the furious was filmed in hemet

In 1989, I was 16 y/o and living in Hemet. We moved there from Huntington Beach when I was 5. My mom had remarried a guy who’s family owned the livestock auction in San Jacinto. It was a nice small town to grow up in back then. Yeah. Lots of banks. This is like a time capsule. I had heard it had gone down hill. Went back a couple years ago. Yeah. Wouldn’t want to live there now.

Before all the hate comments below - anyone notice the building just before Hemet Theater? It was ( obviously ) still there - pre-fire, also notice the Train Depot was till in it's "abandoned" state. Just a couple of Major changes ... in 30 years - like, Big trees in Weston Park, long list ....

If you weren't around in 89 then you might not "get" why we think the town went down hill...You always ran into someone you knew anywhere you went. Everyone knew everyone and their business (sometimes to a fault). Nice houses and neighborhoods (even the old hoods) Safe, clean, and pleasant. Nothing to do but, we had fun. The mall used to be not too bad...arcade, plently of foods, shopping and hangin out. As teens we cruised, hung out at a handful of designated locations (stater bro's, the sights, aqueduct ect.). just a shame to see it the way it is now

I love that song I was born in 1971 and im 47 just a year ago I started to find out who and how famous Ritchy Vallen was or is . I paied close attention to stories of what caused the plane to cart wheel long ways were it came to rest.one thing I can't figure out is vallen and singer of Peggy sue came to rest very close to plane but I cant figure out vallen and other guy ( plz forgive me I don't remember on top of my head the guy who had a black hand gun on him later someone found close by BUT THATS not my important concern at the moment but I know big bopper omg ! I asure you no disrespect to you everyone who reading here well back to whats bothering me that plane made ground contact very far away around a block or more cart wheel or something continued till where it came to rest with both body's lay close to plane but how why there ? because where plane hit ground at that moment energy brute force is at its peak decreased further away where plane ground contact was made and plane finally rested second or two right when I just about to stop moving all energy brute force was over my point is why vallen and singer Peggy sue didnt came to rest where plane hit ground where brute force impact was at its peak but vallen must of gotten ejected where energy brute force had to be extinguished ? bopper must of gotten ejected some how where plane had to be cart wheel in progress and sling shot him far not to far but far. BUT what caused richly and other to come to rest close to each other close to plane and all three experience same energy force but bopper landed farther ways . ? I don't know I understand theres no real true answer to my question unless security cameras were invented that time 1950s or someone out harvesting area to have witnessed actual moments where plane came to rest . that never Happened ill never find why three body's got ejected where energy of hitting cart wheel and finally plane came to rest 0% brute force impact energy was no more enstead of where plane first hit maximum brute force impact energy should of ejected them there but that didn't happen . it was the total opposite I don't get it . plez if I may important the pilot was said to was pined still inside of plane I rewind where the cameras at the crash site camera lenses recorded couple of fairly close up of where pilot was pinned I rewind slow motion I paused to get glimpse of pilot body but nothing all I view where pilot seat suppose to be there was imploded into a pack pile of plane parts thats all I saw not one glimpse of pilot WHY and how did they excavate pilot body out of plane ? I don't have a strong mental state of mind to be ones who got pilot body free out of plane very sick just thinking was pilot intact ? is it true richy vallen half of his head was missing ? last thing well I came to a final conclusion what caused plane crashed that is pilot had issues with mentally having a mental brake down dew to in flight in strong storm pilot got scared up in sky or it was altimeter reading show plane was in a upward flight. but actually

Did they tell everyone to stay home that day? When did they change the speed limit signs from 35mph to 4pmph and lower $4gal gas to under a dollar, lol. The town doesn't make the people, the people make the town. From Hemet's inception until around 2005, it was a wonderful town. The wrong people started to flood in, and now the city is bombed out. Look at the people, there's the reason.
