I want to let you know I have always wanted to be a cobbler. So much that I have studied shoe making and repair for over 10 years. I have a local cobbler that is willing to ing to teach me finally. @@AaronG2480 no tengo como comparar con unas RW, nunca he tenido, lo que tengo es thursday, unas chuka y las Chelsea legend, en ambas la horma es snug, soy 11us en tennis: Nike, Adidas etc, en thursday pedí 10.5. Ahora, en parkhurst pedí asesoría, Andrew el dueño contesta y ordene igual 10.5, y fue lo correcto. Se sienten muy bien, firme en el talón, eso agrada, pero con buen ancho en el ball. Excelente 602 last. Disculpa la larga respuesta jaja!

2:33 If you're referring to this then yes that's the foam. It doesn't seem so heavy duty though lol 😅🤣🤣🤣🤣! Cork filler is much better to use. A higher quality filler that is also acceptable is a piece of leather as a filler. It would be a bit thinner than the leather midsole. I've seen cobblers on KZbin use leather as a filler too. It's fine to use and it's durable too! So cork and leather are much better to use than that so called white "heavy duty foam" lol 🤣🤣!

The customer won't complain. The painting on the heel stack is actually called edge dressing. It's primarily used to recolor and protect the edges of the sole, especially where the leather is most exposed to wear and tear. It covers scratches and scuffs on the sole edges. It restores the original color of the sole edge. It also helps to protect the leather heel stack from water damage. So it is useful. The heel edge dressing is standard to do for boots and dress shoes.
