Holy smokes...you put the rotar blades in the wrong way...if the mechanism rotates clockwise...the rocket like tips should point in the same direction as the blades move with the black bits behind ...otherwise you have done it LOL

I've used coconut oil to remove sticky stuff, sometime alcohol doesn't cut through sticky stuff. Then Dawn soap to remove the coconut oil.

TheSkullReviews You are quite welcome. You just maybe converting me, into becoming a 12" collector. I forgot just how cool they are. I mean what's a G.I. Joe collection without at least a few of the ones that kicked off the toy line?

Yeah man, their is something special about the classics, I really dig them, really like the flocked bearded guys from the 70's adventure team but they are tough to collect if you want a nice one, most of the flocked heads are beat up, but you can have them reflocked.

Is there an easy way to get that motor out without breaking the copter? I WD 40'd mine and the push bar is still catching on something inside the motor. Thanks.

Yes, you can take the helicopter apart at the clips that hold the 2 halfs together, take your time as the plastic is old and brittle, I was able to do it with my brothers a few years back.

The polishing might come out better using a sponge instead of a rough paper towel. Looks good though.
