Vintage Hallicrafters SX-100 Mark 1B Shortwave Receiver Restoration: Selectivity Switch

In this episode the selectivity switch removed from the shortwave receiver was refurbished. The tube socket for the notch filter arrived in the mail and was installed and the notch filter box refurbishment was completed and installed into the chassis.

In the near future. I’m a little too cautious; my wife and I are staying out of restaurants after three family members came down with COVID. I exchanged emails with Larry after his mom passed. He was in good spirits considering the situation. A lot of marathons were planned over a period of weeks that he has been participating in. I hope you’re doing well and I heard the update on your dad. My Dad fell at home last week and was transported to the hospital for evaluation then released. His mobility is very poor due to a knee that will most likely need to be replaced. Best, Don
