I have spent my Sunday morning curled in bed watching your tutorials, and I can honestly say it has been time well spent! lol. The amount of tips, tricks, ideas & inspiration you provide for all manner of projects is truely amazing. Not just that you must work damn hard to put the amount of tutorials up for us but everyone is so full of knowledge. Whenever I have an idea but im not sure how to put it all together to accomplish it as I am new to making my own items, all I do now is sit down and watch some of your video's and before long you show something that will make it all click for me. For example I am making a beaded flower spray at moment and wanted some tulle or similar to sit behind it, but wasnt sure how to do so whilst making it look well made. But once again you have shown a great way with tying a knot in the centre of the fabric strips to create an even look with wonderful flounce ;) just the idea I needed! Sorry for my long rambling post! I just wanted to say thankyou :) xxx

Fi this cushion-heart is so lovely! I just flip over all of the lace you used on it. Would you please tell me what size pearls you put across the heart on a diagonal? I also just watched you make a chipboard heart with lace from a dress covering it. (May 4, 2014) I must make a few of those before Christmas! Elegant and not difficult to accomplish! What a fabulous idea to put them on the tree with a message on the painted white side. You never run out of ideas! Thanks for sharing your ideas with all of us!

great makes fi that would make a lovely chair back decoration for a wedding or a ring cushion you should make up a wedding posy /brides bouquet in your lace flowers with bling centers to show people what they could look like i use to make them out of old brooches they looked lovely but i never did lace flowers with pearl or bling centers i bet they would look fab for a vintage or shabby chic wedding or do a table arrangement big love marc

Hello, Hello: Love it as I knew I would. I share the same question with Patricia C. I don't mind the speeding up because I've watched your flower making and I do my best to copy them, since they are the most beautiful. But even though I'm guessing the smaller, center lace was 12 inches and the outer larger was 14 inches, could you tell me for sure. I can't find nice looking feathers or bead spray to use with my flowers either. Thanks Fiona. XX's
@JenningsCraftsBoutique9 жыл бұрын
Lynda Thomas Hi Lynda, you can buy the bead sprays from my store, the laces are as you say 12 & 14 inches long. I also sell the Marabou feathers, 20 for £1 excellent value :) xx

I love the tutorial, pillow is gorgeous. Can You tell me in inches the amount of lace you use for the flower I try to make mine look like yours but I can never get the flounce right. I make them for my granddaughter and she loves them she is the envy of her school friends. tfs
@JenningsCraftsBoutique9 жыл бұрын
Patricia Champion Hi Patricia, if your using a gathered lace like I do, then for the center flower you need 10-12 inches, the outer flower you need 14 inches. If your using flat laces then you need 16 inches for the outer lace and 12-14 for the center one! Once you get used to making them, you can gauge it pretty well, the more lace you use the better the flounce, if you use too much you will feel it and see that the flowers don't look natural :( Thank you for your kind words, this video has received 3 thumbs down (I'm not sure others can see this) a handful of jealous people me thinks lol lol :) xx

Very pretty Fi I think the hanger would look good painted white you could even put a bow at the neck of the hanger too.. Fi when you glue something to metal is the hot glue ok or do you need a different type of glue. I've got the metal stamping plates from you to make necklaces but just unsure of what glue is best. Thank you hugs xx
@hollowayhandbag9 жыл бұрын
Diana Browning i would use e6000 glue in jewelry making especially metal parts as its strong flexible and lasts you dont need a lot just a tiny bit put on with a cocktail stick fi sells it in her shop it one of the best glues around use in a well ventilated room, hot glue guns are great for fabric card small gems pearls etc but when it comes to metal and glass your better of with e 6000 glue,also this glue is good for jewellery G-S Hypo cement from Beadalon. it has a very fine tip and you only need a little of it hope this helps big love marc
@dianabrowning73309 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much for this advice I was thinking of e6000 but was not sure so you have put my mind to rest. Back to crafting hugs Diana

i asked fi along time ago if it was all right for me to give any info i had on her vids as i like fi have been crafting /art for too many years to say lol Fi did not hesitate in saying yes please if you know something then please share it as we don't know everything and others may know a quicker cheaper way of doing things and i like fi i am one who is willing to learn and pass on what we know thats why it was a no brainer for me to know that this lady was one of a kind a true crafter /artist who could not stop herself sharing her knowledge and love of craft /art .even if it was at a cost of making money for her self as many things she could keep to herself and then charge a fortune to others meaning those who follow her ,she does not do this like some other people do who are bitter and hateful and try and put her down she does this all for free i love the haters it makes me proud to be her friend becuase only those doing good have haters ,i have brought 10000s of craft items over the years its my job and i often go to fi as she has that thing you only need a bit of or just can't find at a price that is ridiculous i often feel bad buying it at such a low price but fi is happy with what she gets and that to me is fair so i am happy Fi is happy and those i make and work with are happy ,i was happy i could help and happy that Fi loves it and is happy when crafters share so make sure you share Fi youtube and shop but one word of warning GRAB ALL YOU CAN AFFORD OUT OF THE SHOP WHILE YOU CAN BECAUSE IT NEVER STAYS THERE LONG AND O SO MANY TIMES I HAVE SAID .......(RUDE WORD ) WISH I GOT THAT WHEN I SAW IT big love and glad i was a help marc

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this one Fi! Q: I noticed a lot of your projects are done with hot glue. How is the longevity of the glue? Does it stay on/last for a long time since you are selling your projects? Also, do you use an "extra strength" hot glue! Thanks much! :)
@JenningsCraftsBoutique9 жыл бұрын
Rosanna Judah-Elliott I just use normal milky glue sticks and I've never had a complaint aht anything has come undone etc. Personally i have in a box of goodies (from years ago) still have items I've made going back 15 years, so how long they will last I have no idea :( Only time will tell lol lol :) xx
