I’ll have to try adding thread to my bobbin spools from the front as you have shown. On my 990 I’ve always loaded from the back using the two available thread guides.

Hope it works as well for you as it does for me on my 980!!! 😎

You can actually do both. Front is preferably used when the underthread finishes while you are sewing, Then you do not need the re-thred the whole machine (like in case when you have just one color of the thread available and you have it through the needle.

Hi Cathy , on 3:33 I can see the bobbin winder is there a thread cutter closer to the viewer?
@leighcathy Жыл бұрын
At 3:33 & 3:50 you can see the tread cutter, just to the right (lower right) of the bobbin winder below the thread guide.

Hello friends, my sewing machine is locked and does not work, what should I do?

Start with looking for any pieces of thread that may be jammed around the hand wheel or bobbin areas. Use tweezers to remove any thread you may find jams. Be gentle in trying to move your hand wheel as you do not want to force the machine causing damage. If you cannot find a thread jam, I suggest taking the machine to a local repair shop so they can investigate the problem.
