Piper’s room is gorgeous, I’d love to do something like that in my own room. You’ve given me some great ideas though so thank you Heather. I have a few things already but I can’t move my things around by myself, or at all actually. I have to rely on someone else doing it for me and no one seems to have the time. I love those green curtains. We are going to be putting our new house together soon and I cannot wait to get to decorate it. I bought a little girls bed room set that looks like a doll house and it lights up. It is so unique and I think those curtains are going to go perfect so I went and looked for them ❤❤❤ just gorgeous. Piper should enjoy her room so much more in its cozied up transformation. 😊* *However, dear Heather, I am so disappointed that you changed Piper's books. 📚 They looked MUCH BETTER the way Piper had them on her bookshelf. Thank you so much for your honest response! Piper and I have been working on her room together and she knew I would be in her space and finalizing things. We had moved her bookcase around a couple of times so she took a picture of the way she finally decided she wanted her books. I showed her your response and she said “how nice that she was worried about me…but you only turned my books around.” In the end she has decided to turn them back around so she can see what books she has and has read. I feel like I may have triggered something deeper and for that I am sorry. I have many wounds from boundaries being crossed and I know it can be alarming when this happens. Piper has assured me that I didn’t go too far and we have a rapport where she can tell me that she doesn’t like an idea I have. In fact she has done this a number of times with this room makeover. I am confident that she is coming up with her own style and isn’t afraid to voice it. What I meant during my outro is that I could style it a different way since she was gone of how I would like to do it and she is free to style it differently when she gets back. She is absolutely putting her books back the way she had them but is okay with me trying something different. Thank you for voicing your concern and sticking up for my kid! 🥰
