I bot a pumpkin last Oct. From walmart. Ok itd been outside hete in Vegas and hasnt deterorated. So what chemical are they putting in there?

LOL, it's called letting the raccoons and squirrels eat through the outside and then minus 10 degrees, snow and sleet. Sadly I don't know if you will be able to recreate the same effect. You could try cutting a large hole into it and taking some of the insides out. Then letting it sit in the sun to dry out. Let me know it that works. Have a great day. Thanks for the comment.
