The 1950's pastels are reminiscent of the colored kitchen appliances that were available back then. I've seen the old ads for refrigerators, sinks and cabinets available in an array of beautiful soft colors. Your little snowmen are just perfectly 1950's! How absolutely lovely! Another Christmas project that I need. Thank you so much. Just finished using your paper dolls to create Christmas ornaments for my tree. I know that wasn't their original intent, but with just the right pieces attached, they work great for Christmas. They came out so cute. But now I need these snowmen! I'll add a little eye hook to the top of the hat. I'm hopeful my tree will be a cornucopia of vintage look ornaments. And you have given me so many wonderful ideas, and your paper pieces and bits and bobs that I order through your etsy shop always make my projects look exactly as I had invisioned. My best friend came over and we made these. She made the mini's- an angel a even a snowman in a tux and spats, and I made the big ones. My 8 year old grand daughter made on that is so adorable I can't believe it. We had so much fun chatting, giggling and making. thank you

Not only did I enjoy this video but it brought me back to my childhood. We had ornaments and decorations just like that hence I was born in 1957. Also my parents owned an antique store and our home was full of vintage things. I love these snowmen and I'm definitely going to be making some. I will be sending some to my Mother who is 91and believe it or not is still crafting. Thank you for this tutorial it is a treasure.

I'm a glitter girl from way back. I used to hand out little cards, at the craft shows I went to. This is what it said, "May your life be filled with faith, love and a little bit of glitter !" First of all, I want to say I love this project! Vintage and sweet and glittery. It's perfect. Sadly, due to youtube's policy with the ads now, it's probably the last video I'll be watching. The amount of ads shown, just tossed in and super loud, is not conducive to watching and trying to learn what you're doing. It's not worth $14 a month to go ad-free, either. And I know, it's not you, it's youtube. But users will pay the cost for this policy. I hope you continue to make such awesome projects, you are unique among anything I can find. Maybe there's another platform that could be used without these annoyances.
