Unfortunately when something arrives damaged it is the sellers responsibility to take care of the issue. You have to refund and then go thru the shipping service yourself to be reimbursed. Which can sometimes be very difficult.

it was clearly totaled by the postal service or the buyer or a combination of both , i’ll have to look into getting reimbursed by the postal service , but. if she has the actual damaged envelope n item i’d think it would be easier for her . 🤷🏻‍♀️.

@@VintageDiscoveries It is easier for the buyer yes. Because many times the post office needs to see the item to get reimbursed but sadly, that's not how eBay works :( eBay makes the seller handle it.

I had something happened on eBay too. This lady made a low ball offer on my stuff which I accepted. Then when she got it, she didn't like it and want to return. I accepted the return just to be nice. But you know, if you made a low ball offer on an item which you can see pictures of the listing, is it kind of rude to return it because you did not like it? So I understand what you went through. People!

Ugh. So sorry, Sally! As an seller, I understand Sally’s eBay rant and am familiar with the Jekyll and Hyde eBay buyer. Happened to me recently with a necklace. eBay had to side with them but allowed me to file a complaint and block them (they sent me harassing emails stating I purposely sent a broken necklace because I was part of some political conspiracy group I’ve never heard of. Just bizarre experience in general. The time they spent replying to my one message that the necklace was in great shape when I packed it was very unsettling. In my case, the packaging was in tact, so….) Anyway, I am 1,000 % siding with Sally on this one. The jewelry I have purchased from her arrived in perfect shape, packed with the same care she uses to handle it in the videos. Guess what I purchased? Bakelite bracelets and two, or three, necklaces! 😊 Let’s go buy from her eBay store to say thank you for the years of education she has given us. ❤

I just started collecting and I love love love that you found a pair on the original card that reads, “Paolo Gucci is no longer affiliated with Gucci America” What a score! Heard the break was a scandalous time in the company/ family. Great find! So excited! The discount code helps tremendously because this is as high- end as I get. 😄
