Ah those are cool. I am working to establish a sort of snowy city in my bedroom, since my game room is more "tropical". These are before my time. I'm in the POTF and beyond era.

Great set up. Hoth playset and Battlefront game inspired me to make my own out of the pink insulation foam to enjoy with the black series figures. Snow is tough to replicate. Ice is pretty easy with sharp edges and paint.

Nice collection/ display David 👍🏻. I never had the AT-AT either and I had a lot of ESB Kenner. Snowspeeder was so neat with the yellow lighted laser cannons.

I purchased one from Toy Federation this spring. I took apart the speeder and manually moved the gear on the motor. This freed it up enough when I put batteries in it worked.

Ha, thanks David. I like 'em too. Interesting note - that jumbo hoth leia had a broken head when I got her on ebay, so I did a little surgery and glue to get it back on. Only jumbo I've ever had to do any repair on.

take that farm boy Luke and that Wampa , and any other figure that yellowed , put them in a large glass pickle jar , fill it up with some hydrogen peroxide , and put them in direct sun light for 2 to 4 days and watch how white they get .. it works , I have been doing it for years .. plus its fun , its like playing with your figures again ..

Awesome stuff David! I had the Rebel Command center as well as the Turret and Probot sets and my best friend had the Imperial Attack Base and the Hoth Ice Planet (It was like Land of the Jawas but with an Imperial Walker) sets. Love the mini-rigs as well! Reach out if you want some help with the snowspeeder. I restored mine and had to work on the electronics. It's not too terrible to fix up.

Oh, that must have been fun to get all the toys together as friends and play everything. I've seen the cardboard AT-AT set at a few shows. Haven't pulled the trigger on that one yet, though it does look really cool. Same wiht the probot set. I may do that with the snowspeeder if I get stuck. I opened the shells and then two of the wire connections broke, so I set it aside. Gotta get back to that project!

What kind of lights do you have

those are motion activated under-cabinet led lights I got at Costco a few years back. Manufacturer brand is Artika. I like them because they are wired in series and plug in (no changing batteries).

It says Imperial Attack Base on the "tin" so why would we put 'Whebels' in it!!?? 😅 I have my childhood complete Base, but unfortunately no room in my SW room Inn for display, due to it mainly being for the "dirty 6 inch scale!" 😢 Wonderful Display! A bit of a childhood dream. ❤

I loved that Imperial attack base too. I always took it to be the trenches in the snow that they were attacking from, but in the movies those were all filled with Rebels, too, of course! The buttons on that thing always had hair triggers on mine!

@@ericbaitchman6336 honestly I never thought about it as a kid, only later as an adult. Yes, the mechanism on mine for the little control room is really finicky. The collapsing arch works great though. Great hanging out today with you, and thanks for the cool SW stuff!
