Nice to see you with the Heritage 2, again. If you want to know the age of it, the serial number in the bar on the fan case will tell you. The first number is the plant, the second and third number are the year and the fourth and fifth number are the month. I have a 1959 Kirby and I have had it since I was 12. I am 38 now and still use it almost daily.
