I have my grandmother's collection from the 50's! I remember them on her shelf when I was a little girl and was always fascinated with them. And I am 65 yrs old so they are at least I would say 60 years old! A few have chips but I love them all!

Thank you for the wonderful information. I have been collecting for the past couple of years and have about 30 now. I am glad to see that someone besides myself collects head vases. You have a very lovely collection. You mentioned something about shows in your video. I believe that at one time they had conventions. Do you know anything about shows or conventions? I would love to attend a show or a convention but cannot find anything current about them. Thanks for sharing!

Hi! Thanks so much! They did used to have conventions and they would release a Convention only head vase which is fun! But the last one I think was around 2010. It would have been fun to attend!

@@TheAntiqueHer Ok. Thanks. I was hoping to find a group to share with. Oh well, I guess I will need to enjoy collecting on my own. LOL. I usually buy the vases on EBAY as I rarely see them in the thrift stores down here. I did manage to buy two of them, one at an antique shop and one at a thrift shop. Other than that the rest have all been sourced from EBAY. 😔

@@Jacques_Sthere are quite a few groups on Facebook if interested where people chat about their head vases! If you’re on Facebook search head vase under groups to find all the options! I’ve joined a few! ❤I sell through theantiqueher.com and will occasionally have head vases for sale too 🎉

Closed vs. Opened eyes? What does it mean? Year made, company, more or less value?

Closed vs open is typically just a manufacturing choice no real significance some companies made more with eyes closed some more with open. As far as value- there are some from each brand that are super sought after but I’d say typically I see high values for Brinns on the regular and Inarco more than some of the others but that’s certainly not always the case. ❤
