Those old mags are sooo great! (You know that little baby in the Debbie & Eddie story is Carrie Fisher, right?)

That was an awesome video! I was born in the 50s, so I loved the flip through of the magazines. You had me in stitches with your comments! Thank you for sharing pages from my era.

I’m a hairdresser…started early 60s then I was a “barber” for 25 years at the same chair near a Canadian military base in Ontario! Love these old magazines..lots of memories!

Nicole: That was really a lot of fun. I grew up in the 50's. A lot of those products are no longer. And when you couldn't recognize that 45 record player, I couldn't believe it. That was the new type of record for us teenagers. HaHa. Just a lot of great memories. Carol from California

If you (at 45) are getting up there then I have arrived. I just turned 70. I loved watching you flip through these magazines. They are a real treasure and show how much more aware we are now (and still have a way to go.). I really appreciated your comments about domestic violence.

Hahhaa Thank you Susan! Age is just a number You are so right about the magazines. Thank you for saying that Susan, I am a DV survivor.

I love these old magazines! If I am remembering correctly, a rumpus room is what we now call a bonus room. The guy that's "in orbit" is Gilligan from Gilligan's Island. I used to watch it on cable at my grandparents' house when I was a kid. I also never knew Melmac was a brand of dishes. I just thought it was ALF's home planet! 😃Learn something new every day!

I’m not quite as old as this magazine (born in 1960) but I sure remember these sentiments! Great video!

Born in 1961 so some of the actors and actresses are familiar to me. Clint Walker was 6'6" so he was, literally, her Big Daddy😂 Those ads are great. The wrap around girdle 😂 Today we have Spanx!! You are so fun to watch. Curvettes 😂 TFS❤

Love when you flip through the vintage magazines the most. Every time you laughed you made me laugh. 😂 I was going through a food magazine to send out images in happy mail to friends in your group on facebook.

OMG I was laughing so hard with you. A few things - A rompus room was like a bonus room. My Mom is still driving her mini van they bought in 1997 I think. I remember Mom and Dad talking about how expensive the van was, that they paid the same for the van as they paid for their 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home they bought in 1966 ($15,500). We later moved into a bigger house a few blocks away in 1972. I was born in 1962 so I remember some ads that are similar to these. The full page with the girl that said ANNETTE, that was Annette Funicello. She was on the Mickey Mouse Club as a teen (1955-1959), and did many movies including "Beach Blanket Bingo", "How to Stuff a Wild Bikini", "The Shaggy Dog", "Babes in Toyland", and so many more. Someday I might harvest a Nov 1936 magazine I got along with some others on Buy Nothing. I knew the gal had vintage magazines but some people call 1990 stuff vintage. I was so excited to see that Nov '36 issue as it was the month and year my Dad was born.

I looked up where I might be able to watch the movie The Hunters that was advertised in the first magazine. I was surprised that you have to pay to watch it.

You had me cracking up, Nicole. Especially the Curvettes!😆 Wow,some of those old ads and articles were so toxic! Yikes! I remember a lot of those product's or similar growing up. I have an entire box of old magazines un my basement that belonged to my Grandparents. Some of them are literally crumbling to pieces. I guess I should go through them and see if they can be salvaged.👍🏾❤️

I really love these older magazines. I wish I could find some at a yardsale or something. My grandma would love it. She's in her 80s and I think a pleasant blast from the past would be good for her. I've seen some at a flea market but the guy is asking way too much for them.

Watched it again cause I missed some, but yes who would want a nurse who got her license/degree from the back of a magazine😂😂😂but there were lots! I also commented about the TV screen thing in another post under my first one. Talk about nostalgia for me😂😂😂

They were plastic pieces that went on tv screen blue. At. Top The middle was red and green was the bottom for people who wanted color t.v. But couldn’t afford one. My friend had one and her mother was addicted to movie magazine and we would sit and cut them out when she was done ,i’ve been glue booking a long time😂we would put them in old scrapbooks. I just want everyone to know this was 4th and 5th grade. I really don’t feel (or act) this old I was exposed to lots thru older adults and sisters. 33:46

I just started watching but I had to stop to tell you tat the pretty blonde at the front of the magazine was Sandra Dee, the inspiration for the Grease song "Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee." Also, the girl holding the rop"6 Ways etc was Dolores Hart who gave up acting and became a nun.
