Sorry but that is 100% wrong! I have an old polaris like this except a 700 with a 151 track... it doesnt go nearly as many places as my 2006 rev does, and my rev is old compared to the new sleds out there!.

snowmachineman I disagree. The old stuff can be reliable but track lug and length along with the horsepower of the newer stuff kills a stock old sled. The new stuff is equal to a built up custom hill climber from back in the day.

I'm pretty sure that motor needs a new motor 😂 A polaris 800 should be able to rev past 6000rpm lol it sounds like the exhaust is broken

is that altitude sickness or motor sickness?.. my '02 polaris 700 edge seems like it's got more oomph ..lol .. i just sold my modded '93 mach z i rode the last 8 yrs and bought my first polaris .. going from 170HP to 135 i thought i'd think it was slow.. but this '02 700 really rips!,, and i have reverse now!..lol , bonus

The sled was running WAY to rich. It was jetted for low elevation riding. It also had the wrong clutch weights in it. That's what happens when you buy a used sled and don't check anything before going up high. Runs like a champ now. Also is getting NOS installed.

@@FeederCountry cool , yeah it didnt seem quite right ..lol ..NOS will be a trip on that thing, haha..i'd love to ride mtns , i'm a flat lander , i live in the U.P. , lotsa good riding, like 4k total miles of trails , but i need to go out west one of these times and rent a mtn sled and experience that vibe .dont think my 121'' ,1.3'' cobra track would cut it ..lol ..my '93 mach Z had an SC-10 swapped in and a 1.75 ripsaw paddle , that woulda faired better ,but was a tank , not a fun sled to get stuck, ..lol

So I have a 99 Polaris 700 rmk pro and when I is losing RPM like how yours was doing i turn it off, hit the Kills-witch,turn the kill-witch off, then turn it back on and that normally helps 👍🏻
