Damn, your DIY sounds phenomenal! (auditioning on Adam A7X monitors w/ RME Babyface Pro) .. So much more body than the real deal. Would love to hear that through some other pres -- Bet it'd sound like silk through something like SCA's affordable N72, Neve 1073 clone. Wish I had the necessary DIY electronics skills in my wheelhouse to get this kind of result. I've been so blown away by everything I've heard of yours so far.
