I had one!! Fun fact, my little cousin put a breaded shrimp in one of the speaker bass ports. It never sounded the same… nor smelled the same 😂

But the shrimp could party to the music.

I love Panasonic products. My father was in the USAF in the 1960's and brought home a Panasonic radio from Japan, that would automatically scan radio stations, with a push of a button...similar to what we do today. But back in the 60's, it was like watching magic. My husband, then my 16 year old boyfriend, gave me a Panasonic digital clock radio for Christmas, in 1974. I still have it by my bed. I love this clock radio. Daniel, you said it...Panasonic is truly pure awesomeness! Thank you for sharing this.

I agree; Panasonic sure made some great boomboxes. That is so awesome that you still own the 1974 Panasonic digital clock! I used to have a flip-number alarm clock before. My favorite Panasonic boomboxes are those large ones that were common on beach parties back in the '80s.

That's a great deal! This one actually sold for $60 :-). I love this particular boombox and I find it to sound really great. I also love the 3-CD mechanical changer in action.
