I have a 1968 Red submariner 1680. I wear it daily, it was my stepdads who just passed away and left it for me, what a great timepiece!

hi, I also have a 1968 Red sub, it belonged to my grandfather, before he died he left it to my father, this is the only memory we have of him. these objects have incredible stories

complimnet, my favorite watch, yes always, now I'm dealing with a 16610 from 1996, tritium and aluminum bezel, I love the vintage charm

That 1996 16610 with the tritium and aluminum bezel is a beauty! The vintage charm, especially with the aging tritium lume and the classic aluminum bezel insert, really gives it character. It’s great when a piece like that carries both history and timeless appeal.

I had a 1680 red with full set of papers and box. Only issue is that at some point the hands were replaced for newer ones. How much does that affect the value?

Bla-bla-bla … These “experts” seem very happy. I am also very fond of that reference but, here, the bracelet doesn’t match with the announced date of production (folded links ref 9315 before 1975). And also I have serious doubts regarding the consistence between the hands and the dial (observe the tritium) 😂😂
