I know that l’ve mentioned that I’m a retired Pastry Chef and of course I collect Rolling Pins! My Late Husband built me a Rolling Pin Display Rack, it held 60 pieces. When l downsized, l built a Wooden Cornice Box incorporating all of my favorite Rolling Pins! I also made Roman Shades out of my Williams Sonoma dining table tablecloths. I love repurposing my favorite things! I made Pendant Lights out of old metal colanders. I love all of your Rolling Pins, they all came out fabulous! Your Rolling Pin pun was very funny! 😂🤣😂

I love this Rolling Pin Makeover tremendously. I have a large collection of pins. My first memories of helping my Mama in the kitchen is being on my knees on a kitchen chair, apron tied up under my arm pits rolling out dough. Your take on Making them over just gives them more charm. When I was a little girl advertisements on glasses, tins and jars were common. I love this and with your attention to detail and good 'vintage taste' you make these pins the stars of the show. ~ smiles

YES !! LOL! Yvonne these are grand ! I especially love the black handled and brown handled ones . Those colors you don’t see and those prints are perfect ! I buy pictures that way off Etsy and grandkids Birthday projects I’m doing . Like you said for $2 or $3 dollars ( and if you are making 50 to 60 items … win/WIN) and you have them forever ! I bought that same paper off Amazon and LOVE IT ! I have made cards with it, printed vintage looking holiday prints on it. Nicole @ Green Onion Vintage did a similar project with her “hoard “ of Rolling Pins also ! I think she did SUNFLOWERS Transfers from IOD on one 🌻 …..so beautiful ! Thought of YOU ! YES I am going to try this ! Love your update on your backdrop ! Now that it is getting to be cold weather… need to check out the “ Ginger Chick Rehab “ sweatshirt ❤️ This was such a fun video !!!! 🧡🧡🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁🧡🧡

Wow those rolling pins are amazing. A tip for mod podging thicker paper that I use is to spray the back of my paper with my mister. It makes it more pliable when I apply it on rounded surfaces. The only down side is that it takes longer to dry.

I learned from Deidre at Our Upcycled Life that you can make card stock thinner to use for decoupage paper. Firmly press clear packing tape onto the back of the image, then carefully remove the tape. It will take som of the paper fibers with it. Then repeat as many times as needed to make the paper supple.

Great project! I had just been wondering what to do with rolling pins. I absolutely love what you came up with❤ "Just going to roll with it." LOL That made me giggle. About the downloads - you may already know this but just in case not everyone does- there can be restrictions. I've learned in my journal making that some sellers do not allow commercial use of their images. Others have limited use without purchasing a commercial package. Others yet have no limits 🙂 Well- Off to find some rolling pins. 😁 Thank you for sharing your beautiful work!
