A little bit of a calamity when my paper mache pumpkin collapsed on one side. I didn't panic. got a balloon and filled it inside while I strengthened it. hope to be ready in two weeks. Hiya, TR!! Yay!! That is fabulous that you’re creating!! I had a similar situation happen last week! I used a balloon as my structure for paper mache. Came down in the morning to find that my balloon deflated 🙃 & collapsed the paper mache!! I managed to remove the ballon & push the paper mache back into shape! Hiya, Tamara! Thank you so much! I haven’t experienced much cracking with Model Magic. Climate may play a factor. Sometimes, if too much water is used during the modeling process, that can cause cracking. I would suggest to condition it really well & you can also loosely cover it with a plastic bag. That will slow down the drying process & may help prevent cracking. I know that isn’t much help. I’m sorry 😣

Cool! Things have been going a little slow. I finished my a group of painted rocks and gave them to a group of friends last week. The Peanuts Halloween Gang is almost finished. I'm pretty hard on myself and rip a part stuff I'm been working on because I don't think it's OK. My next project is Gertz and I'm quite anxious about how things will go. Once you've covered the Styrofoam ball with clay what area of the head do you think I should start off with? For the eyes after I've made the indentations do I use clay or purchased eyes?
