The TowLow made me chuckle, there was a HiLo for sale down the street.. the thing about the HiLo was the bathroom door, it was solid on the bottom half and a curtain on the top half! Too funny they were made under different names.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! 1969 forward we used a used Skamper popup camper that one pulled outside arms up to rise the roof. Other family had the StarCraft popups . Had ours into the late 1970's. We installed a pressure pump for the sink. Pump a lever a few times and the water would be available to flow for a couple hours.

I remember seeing a hi-low for the first time! I don’t think it was for families with more than 1 or two kids (back then those where small families) unless they also had a tent for the big kids. Pretty neat seeing inside the older ones, those Spartan Mansions were something!

I had a pop up long ago, better then a tent heck yes, worth buying heck no! Resale value drops like a rock! Try just staying over night at Wal-Mart in one of these, more and more camp grounds will not even let you stay there. I love the older Spartan Mansions, tons of room but it had to have been as aerodynamic as towing a brick.

Yes these older trailers and their uniqueness make them a hard resale but you could still use them at a state/provincial park and those kinds of places. They would be kind of fun. Yes the Spartan Mansion was huge and not very aerodynamic but again it would be fun to stay in. There are some vintage parks popping up where you can rent these kinds of places to stay in and we think it would be a fun experience. thanks for watching.

Wow the 70s was an ugly decade, I remember my mom dressing me in a leisure suit for the family pictures. Great video, very fun. Thank you!

😂😂 That is so true. I have a picture of Kory in one of those suits too. He thought he was cool and obviously his mom thought she was dressing him like a star. It's hilarious. The brown wide leg pants with matching little jacket and the funky print shirt with the collar. Freakin hilarious! Let's hope that is not a style we will go back to anytime soon.
