Vintage Schneider Xenons: V35 Project

Meet one of our newest and more subtle emulations. We've taken the looks of the Cine Xenons of the 60's and printed the look on the new FF Schneider Xenons.

They look great! There are some used sets out there that can be purchased to be sent in to be tuned. The 18mm is tough to find. Did Schneider release the 18mm later?

Correct. V35 project is our side business, we optically retune the base lenses to emulate a more vintage look. It’s like the opposite of rehousing.

They have modified the existing (modern) Schneider Xenon Lenses to produce/emulate a certain look with more character.
