Hi all My first run of the car, couple of issues though. The motor/drive is slipping and one wheel came loose (now fixed). Thanks all

You can get now all the spare parts you need, as the re realese of the Cat xls Masami came out, even you can do the upgrade to the pro belt kit to use a brushless system on it, the ball diffs must be tightened proper to avoid the slippery.

It can certainly be a tricky car to get set up correctly even when bone stock - I still have figured mine out 😂 worth all the trouble though - cool car & cool video 👍👍👍

Ah yes Thankyou Richard. I did indeed do this a week or so ago and it helped sort the slip. I rebuilt both ends to and basically you are right, the thrust bearings were very aged and I’ll likely do the 3mm balls to. But I couldn’t find the thrust bearings so I’ve put the car back in the loft for a few months but I will look around for the thrusts and see if there the same as Abu modern Schumachers. Keen to finish it !

The spur lay shaft is a mms part just relook at the difference as they are to loose

Hi if the belts are loose they will click, the white layshaft is after market by mms, sounds like your diffs are to loose could need a rebuild

Hey, thanks for the info my man. So I did Inspect and rebuild them this weekend and basically both ends need new 3mm ball bearings and thrust bearings (the carriers were destroyed). So I rebuilt it and it works way better/no slipping- but I’ll find and order the parts this wk to redo it all properly. I found the 3mm bearings but not the exact thrust bearings yet.
