Vintage Seiko Quartz Diver Service | 7548-700B

At Pride In Watches, we received this beautiful vintage Seiko diver which had 7548 quartz movement. Watch was in running condition, but there were below mentioned issues in the watch.
1- Calendar wheels were stiff and after all these years it needed proper cleaning and oiling.
2- Bezel action was pretty stiff as well which was taken care in this video
3- We also replaced all the old gaskets with the new gaskets
4- Hands had patina over them which were cleaned to match the hour markers on the dial
5- Chapter ring was misaligned which was also adjusted during the service.
Watch is now running very accurately, and it will keep on ticking for many years to come.

Nice video, and a nice watch too! One question though: Why is there a split stem when you can remove stem and crown the usual way?

It helps to make the crown screw down. Now a days screw down crowns have built in springs.
