Vintage Steam Trains to Stony Point 1967 with Steam locomotives D3639 and K191. The railway station tat the trains departed from were beneath the old Gas and Fuel building which was being built at the time but has since been demolished. The first shots were from the top of the building as a stairway to the top was accessible at the time. At Stony Point, there was a picnic in the park with entertainment before a cruise on the former ferry 'Eagle Star' before the return train ride to Melbourne. The Eagle Star in those days, ran a regular service between Stony Point and Tankerton on French Island and Cowes on Phillip Island. - by reidgck
