I save all my cut threads from sewing,or unraveling just for a purpose like this, or those snippet layers...I save almost every tiny piece of paper and cardboard in a Ziploc baggie taped to my work table. When it fills,I dump into a larger bag.. Sometimes I use the very small bits on tags or collage,but eventually I intend to make some paper,or fireplace log( s) Waste Not,Want Not lol!

Shana, I just started junk journaling in the last last and discovered your videos recently. I love them! I love that you teach so much art technique. I have learned so much from you. I watched this video last night and decided to make some index cards along with you. I am so excited at how they are turning out. I wanted some to go in a journal I'm making that has a lot of blue in it, so I used blue and black ink instead of brown. I'm attaching a picture. I never show pictures of my projects, but I am so excited because it feels like I'm learning so much. The blue I used behind the black thread was very bright, so I put some gesso on it to tone it down. That's something I learned from you! Thank you again for teaching us so much!
