Vintage Tamiya F1 McLaren MP4/6 Honda Kit build - Part 1

I’m a product of the Late 70’s through the 80’s Tamiya RC was fascinating not only the models which were extraordinarily cool but RC was it when it comes to making models come alive no more dreaming and pushing toys around with your hands. Kids and adults today won’t experience the WOW factor the way we did just too many technologies that exist today for anyone to get excited about. I’m really liking your channel and your friends channel these really are fun to watch and see the stuff I remember well I just wish I still had my RC buggies from the 80’s.

Great post :) The F1 car is almost a full model really but an RC car underneath. I will be building and restoring loads of the classics over the next year. :)

Thank you, I've been working out! ;) Yep it's a lovely kit 103. The paint job is a bit of a challenge to get ultra sharp but its well worth it.

Wow 🤩 it is beautiful. Do you happen to know where to buy the Tamiya 50440 front wing for the mclaren mp4/6 body? I can’t find one anywhere
