Great pickups! The Movie Star subline is definitely one of my favourites. I remember admiring them as a kid and glad to finally own 'em now. Back then, those seemed almost as realistic as Neca's figures are now!

Thanks man! I agree, the vintage TMNT line has tons of figures with great sculpting detail and the movie star line fits into that category. I never had the Tokka and Rahzar figs as a kid but I would have been blown away by the likeness by early 90s standards!😲

Cool collection mate, I especially like Groundchuck who I’ve seen for sale here but without accessories. Yeah I reckon the most rewarding part is hunting for the accessories and building the figures up, as you say sometimes you end up with 2 figures and you can mix and match to get the best version - lots of fun!

A other great video dude, I’ve never knew there were so many different waves and sub series of TMNT Really love the wacky villains and the different turtles 🐢 figures great work does the talking turtles work?

Thanks dude! Haha yeah, collecting vintage TMNT is a slippery slope, there is just so many figures before you even get to vehicles and other items. So the talking turtles came with a strip that you would feed through the speaker on their back and the strip made them say specific phrases. Those strips are super hard to find and even if you find them now you can barely distinguish what they're saying, I don't think they worked particularly well, even in 1991!😂

Where do you get your simple clear figure stands for TMNT?

Hey Landon, they're called Star Stands, and they come in packs of 20 or more. I would assume from the name they're designed for use with vintage Star Wars figures, but they work pretty well with vintage TMNT figures, which need all the help they can get to stay standing!
