Vintage Tricopter Rebuild: From Crash To Flight!

I doubt there's much demand for tricopters these days, but I occasionally like doing videos like this and it makes me happy to share my tricopter, and remind myself I do videos primarily for me but if you guys enjoy them too then that's icing on the cake! This thing took its sweet time in the backburner as I worked on several different projects, but bit by bit I've bee able to rebuild it and redesign it for modern electronics. I started with tricopter , 8 inch props about 40cm wide a while back. I was using a KK2 board at first and it had great flight characteristics, nearly like an aircraft. Then switched to Ardupilot and it was much more stable but not as enjoyable to fly. I might resurrect it on modern hardware following your video.. or just restore it and fly it again as it is. But thanks for bringing back the tricopters !!
