Live-wired, straight-shootin, dirty-mouth'd pelvis-pushin' juke music featuring Ty Taylor, Nalle Colt, Rick Barrio Dill and Richard Danielson
Vintage Trouble is a sensational, soulful four-man band whose very essence screams out loud of the late 1950's to 1960's. Turned on by and tuned into the evolutionary period in music and life when there was a razor thin line between Rhythm & Blues and Rock & Roll, the band reconnects us all to one universal vibration. Their modern day classics transport the mind, spirit and body back to a sweaty, swinging, heart-thumping speakeasy. Their live shows feel like a sweet southern down-home revival mixed with a gritty, downtown edge. Inspirationally, Otis Redding, Chuck Berry and Ike and Tina Turner can all be felt in woven clothe that tailor-suit the band like honey to the bee. When the buzz tells you they're near, get to them...and be prepared to be moved.

I was hooked onto VT as many were by the appearance on Jools Holland doing "Blues.." and have subsequently seen them live many times, amazing verve and energy. However, had it been this song or any from the new album on Jools I am not sure I would have bought Bomb Shelter Sessions but all bands evolve - I will make my judgement when I see them do the new album live and feel the song not watch a trite video!

For all of those "musicians" If this sound to you like BS, if this sound to you like "is not Vintage Trouble" Gather a group of musicians and try to make a song that sounds half as good than this. Better vocals, better groove , all that. Go a'head

This band is musically incredible, they can be funky with this song, but they also play blues tunes, folk music, or the 60's R'n'B in the purest tradition. Well, they're real musicians, with a charismatic singer.

this is pretty damn far from "live-wired, straight-shootin, dirty-mouth'd pelvis-pushin' juke music" which earned VT their reputation and fanbase. I'm all for bands exploring different genres and messing around with styles - I just don't think I'll be around for this early 2000 pop funk journey as there's little to nothing left of what made me like them in the first place.

I'm confused. This conflicts with my image of the old school rock, rhythm n' blues band that I discovered at Hellfest. Still it's a nice groove and infinity times better than the majority of junk that bombards me every day in mainstream media.

I like the fact they can go in a lot of directions. Artists must be free to stretch and experiment. Their songs have always been well produced and interesting. Some may prefer one style over another but I think it's so important to be open to different ideas. All great artists evolve and experiment.

I think being afraid to do what they want is exactly why this video exists. They're afraid to not make it big enough so they've switched their style to something they think will make them more successful. Unfortunately it won't. Credibility is the #1 currency nowdays (besides Bitcoin) and they're about to lose it.

Most, if not all pop nowadays is void of any groove or bass. If this was released in '78, you might have a point. But this isn't '78.

Overproduced? Raw drums, bass, keys, 2 guitars and 2 vocals is about as unpolished as you can get in modern funk/soul. This is a pretty raw sounding recording.
