Nice to see this video. I now know that it was from one of the workers on the then NEW Granville St Bridge who almost killed me with an old wire style bottle opener he dropped from far above that stuck over a half inch into the wood of the dock my Grandfather and I were walking along after docking the boat in the harbour after a day of fishing. I was born in '48 and Grampa and I went out fishing 'round the bouy a few times. I'll always remember the "twangggg" of that opener hitting the dock inches behind me. Kept it for years but...long gone now. Funny that I always remembered it as the Burrard St Bridge but this has opened my eyes for it all fits. Even to my memories that run in little film clips. Thank you SO MUCH!

It's depressing to think how much this city has changed, the way it used to be a decaying memory.

At 3:15 the answer was because religion and state are to be kept separate. WASPs were so high and mighty in Vancouver but in the end were the ones that sold out Vancouver. Irony was lost on them.

It’s interesting, how the kids on that train weren’t so multi diverse?

That was ten years before my parents came out this way (the beginning part of it, that is).

Are you sure that was a lady? I’ve seen “her” on the tv a long time ago, and I’m not sure it’s a she?

nostology I don't think it is a recognized song from that era but a tune composed foruse on films geared to advertising and travel promotions. Nice though.

Great videos. Seems old people always think they know more than younger people. It seems between the Boomers and Gen X this def isn't true. The average Boomer can't use a cell phone well or even a pc. Let alone AI. My daughter Gen Z know a lot more about some things than i do especially the use of technology. I am fairly up to date yet young people are immersed. Use it for school and daily life. Like how people used to use the news, paper, radio and tv and the internet in the 90s.
