Hey Nik what do you think of the Thomas Organ Company Crybaby? Picked up a 76 one for $100. TDK inductor. Battery snap is corroded so I gotta fix that before I can hear it.
@@theriffwniksevigny5473 Thanks for the info. Hope you're doing well.

Hey Nik, do you like old Tomas Organ Co wahs? They look very similar to these Italian ones. Cool video man. I have a v847 that I modded with Detrik’s kit, I just recently converted it to non-true bypass, and replaced the chase tone pot with the castledine pot, and it just opened this thing right up. It’s got that throaty snarl that the old wah wahs have, I think part of it is having it non-true bypass. I can’t explain it, but I was tipped by a popular wah builder on that. Love your content man. Peace🎸

Nick how do you manage the wah into Fuzzface issue, do u use a buffer at all?
@theriffwniksevigny54735 ай бұрын
Ill always use the fuzz first. Its a sensitive circuit, likes to the pickups first

It was setup close to your liking because the previous owner watched the other videos and learned the tip with the rubber feet. That may or may not be a wild guess though 🤔

Nik? I have a mid 70's Thomas Organ Cry baby that doesn't work. Is it worth fixing? Should i replace the TDK inductor and upgrade to a 100K Chase tone pot? If so, could I send it to you to fix? Thanks, John

I'd roll with it. It sounds pretty darn good for a non true bypass.
@lukasschliepkorte30192 жыл бұрын
What does the bypass have to do with the wash sound?
@aaronp64262 жыл бұрын
@@lukasschliepkorte3019 usually quite a bit frankly but in this case there is very little noise or loss of tone when it's switched off. With true bypass the tone isn't effected when switched off and there is very little noise.
