Thanks for the video recap of a great day! Blake says he did not like all the mud, but has told the story of that day more than any other of EJS2024.

Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't sure if people would like this one or not. No real rock crawling, and lots of driving footage. I don't like mud either, but this was a really fun adventure.

@@Grampas-jeep you did a good job telling the story which is the part I like the most. My only suggestion would be maybe a few cut backs to the map along the way just to show the progress.
@Grampas-jeep9 ай бұрын
I've never considered including a map before, but Jeff took a couple of screen shots of the Onx map along the way so we could go back and see how close we were to what we had wanted to find. When those screen shots showed up in the photo dump, that sparked the idea.

I'm not a big fan of mud, but that day turned out to be really fun. We saw some great scenery and different country that we haven't been to before. And we did a great team exercise getting through that one slippery sketchy spot. Thanks fir watching.

Great video! How much fuel is used on a ride like this?
@Grampas-jeep9 ай бұрын
I ended up dumping my Jerry can in just before the end of the trail. Probably more fuel a was burned on the high speed run up the highway to get to the trailhead than on the trail itself where we mostly bump along at low speed and low rpm.. It's about 45 miles from Moab to the Dewey bridge. It's a nice piece of mind thing to have that extra 5 gallons when you head out to the middle of nowhere. Thanks for watching.
