Tinna, I tried to make an art journal for my granddaughter, she wanted it to be "hardback", which isn't so hard when using chipboard/cardboard, but after watching many video's before coming across yours, when it was done it wouldn't lie flat, you can't draw if it doesn't lie flat, so now when I go make a new one for her, I can use your spine technique. Thank you so very much for this. Your explanations are so easy to follow and I love that you put the paper sizes off to the side.

You are the best of the best teaching journals. Simple exact steps with no "gibber jabber" talking which I really appreciate. I watch these videos to learn, not to "visit" hearing about a cat, a dog, the weather, shopping finds, etc. As a teacher myself for 25 years, I give you an A++++++++ ! 😊❤

@@vectoriadesigns Leetta could not have said it better. Thank you for being ALL about the tutorial. I get so tired of saying hello to someone's cat, looking at this wiggling hands for minutes before the tutorial begins and then listen to the instructor talk about literally nothing. You are an EXCELLENT instructor. Thank you for all your sharing. I have purchased a number of your designs and am never disappointed.

When quilting if you stick yourself with the needle you get to have a piece of candy and a cup of coffee until sure there is no blood. This is amazing I'm so happy to have found this channel so I can sew my papers together instead of staples. This is much more historic for the projects I create. Thank you.

I like the cutting tool that you use for cutting your double sided tape, while sticking down paper onto cardboard. It has a nice long handle, and seems very handy! Thanks for showing how you make the cover to the junk journal! I love the idea of using an elastic string for a closure on the journal. The cover of your journal is gorgeous, Tinne! I love this tutorial, as it shows every stage of making a journal. You are a genius! Thanks so much for the tutorial! ~Janet in Canada

@vectoriadesigns4 жыл бұрын
Hi Linda, it depends, lb paper weights still confuse me, there's so many types: bond/text etc. If it's the normal kind of paper that you use to print a letter, that's probably too light.

Myself I found my tape - weirdly enough - in a cheaper shop (I bought tons). It doesn't really have a brand, but it sticks, it sticks! I'm going to try scor-tape in the near future so I can test it for all of you.

VectoriaDesigns thankyou so much Tinne, I bought some also from a cheap shop because I bought glue stick there and they were ‘quality’ but I am struggling with the double sided. Most others I see using the double sided tape but the red coloured one... which can work out expensive !! .... so now I wait..... patiently.......lol... bedankt x
