This video is a gem! Expand on it a bit and turn it into a Netflix documentary!

I never fail to learn something from your videos. Some of the best martial arts scholarship that I've seen.

Thanks for sharing. I have studied Mai Gei Wong Wing Chun Keun under my Sifu Wong Nim Yi and his family, his wife, his daughter and their coaches. It seems to be a very overlooked/un-noticed form of Wing Chun which is a pity and he is a really nice, calm and humble Sifu. He has schools in Europe, like Italy and the Czech Republic but you hardly see him mentioned outside of Guangdong (we are in Guangzhou), which is a pity. He's very respected here and is part of the Guangdong culturual heritage. He seems to be happy promoting Guangdong and and Chinese culture.

Wonderful to hear you speak Cantonese Dai Lo. Would love to hear you do more Cantonese videos. Greetings from England.

Brilliant video. Im always impressed by your knowledge and ability to articulate such things - normally talking videos bore me but this held me end to end.

This is the best video on WC from how I understand it, I've studied and applied MA since I was a child. To see someone like yourself thoroughly study many different styles and see the big picture is amazing in someone who is young. I sought to find all the various ways that WC differs from lineage to lineage to understand as a whole AND to modify to my body type and capabilites! I teach also and I teach my students to be FREE, as the end goal is to be formless. A big thanks for this one adam, it lets me know that im on the right path even though that path is infinite, I march on!

Great video! Very interesting info. Definitely agree with the idea of WC being an ever-evolving system to fit each person's unique skills.

wow! eye opening stuff, I practice the Yuen Kay San version and totally agree with the idea that some of the stuff doesn't quite fit my body type and so I had to modify to suit my needs (slightly!) Great video!

Great video, but could do with softer background music as it's getting in the way of your Cantonese explanations

That was fantastic, thank you very much Mr Chan! Your explanations of so many aspects of Wing Chun in particular and martial arts in general were both highly informative and very entertaining. I'm not a martial artist but I find Wing Chun fascinating to try to understand.😊👏🏻🙏🏻🎉

Donnie Yen only started learning proper Wing Chun for fighting in the third movie. But he didn't even put effort in learning it. He was already stuck in his ways.

You could have a different opinion, but the best Yip Man movie remains The Grandmaster with Tony Leung.
