I've played a YSL-695 with the .500 bore since 2000! It just feels like an extension of me, completely natural sounding, quick and precise when I need it to be. I love the quickness of the nickel silver slide, but it's very delicate and easy to dent, so it gets worked on at least once a year. It's been a great horn, I love it!

I’ve always enjoyed your playing on all the different horns, I think you sound the best so far on this horn. Very nice job

I play the YSL-691 and really like it. Love the lightweight slide. Mine has the 'torpedo' style counterweight - not sure if that makes it older or newer than the one in this video, or what other differences there might be. Nice review, Keith.

Thanks for your work! Please make a comparison between Yamaha YSL-891Z and King 3B trombones.

Sounds Ace, A chameleon of the jazz trombone as it seems to have many different tone colours
