This is the ultimate Bhibhas out there. However it was not at any Sangeet Sabha but at a shabby hall in Chembur. I know because I was there. Acoustics were awful but he was in such magnificent form nothing could dampen his enthusiasm that morning. Most of us were sitting baithak style, and I was lucky enough to be sitting just a few feet away. The mild wah wahs you hear around 23:28 don't really capture what happened. Even today I can recall how the entire audience went into a sort of collective rapture at that moment. People looked at each other as if to ask "Did you get that!" He followed this with a Yamani Bilawal and a couple of Bhairavi pieces. There is a CD of the whole concert by a company called Pyramid International.

Wah wah! This is THE definitive Vibhas rendition by Mansur ji. Love the subtle & minute variations in elaboration across the entire piece, especially on the word “Narayan” and the mukhda in general, one of the unique aspects of his gayaki. Thanks a lot for sharing! 😊🙏🏻

Less use of Rishabh than Kishori jis rendition ...makes this rendition different than taai... Most of the times glides from gandhar to shadaj ..😅👌 Undoubtedly I am not so great to comment on these stalwarts but I like such small small things which distinguishes the style and approach 😅
