using a crook (should be in the pack) on the leafs will yield you more saplings snd the chance of dropping silk worms. with the worms you can infest the leafs and after a while they will turn white, when they are white they have a chance to drop string. i hope your not to far into the recording so it will still help you.

Nice start Beef on the new series. That said, build a crook an knock leaves down with it. Better chance at saplings and silk worms that you use to infect the leaves with an get tons of string once the leaves turn full white.

Use a crook on the leaves.....! You get more saplings when using one! :) Also you get silk worms that you put on a tree to get string...

Breaking leaves with an Ex Nihilo crook will sometimes give you a silkworm. Right-click it on a tree and it will turn the leaves white. Break the leaves again with a crook and you will get string and many more silkworms

Something fun that you can do with the trees at the beginning is use one of the books to veinmine them. For some reason it allows you to do that and since it is a book it is an infinite 'tree axe'

There is a tool in sky factory called a crook and you can use the crook on leaves and it's more likely to give you saplings

Get silkworms from breaking leaves. They drop rarely but after you get one you just have to right click a tree leave with it and wait for it too spread " when the tree turns white" they you just have to break the leaves and you should get A LOT of string. Hope this helps and good luck! Also you should probably look at your achievements book >.> It has a lot of useful information.

Use a crook to break the leaves. It gives a higher percentage of drops like apples, saplings and silk worms i think, which you use to put in the leaves and break them with a crook and it will give you string. It only requires sticks to make.

I know you have this comment a lot probably but look up silk worm to get string. Place the silk worm on trees and wait for the whole tree to turn white. Use a crook to get the Silkworms.

i hope they learn about crooks and silk worms soon, cause waiting on spiders to spawn may not be the best way of getting string. Etho should know about them, since he played modded skyblock before. They probably have like 3 or 4 episodes recorded already, and waited for the string to make a sieve though In case you read this Beef (and you do not have a sieve yet), make a crook and break leaves with that to get more saplings and silk worms. Plant a silk worm in a tree, wait for the leaves to turn white (WAILA will tell when its 100% done). Then break those leaves (I'm not sure if using the crook on that will get higher yield), and it will drop string for you guys. Usually 1 or 2 trees will get enough string for a sieve. Does anybody know if there's any way of progression in this map, like HQM or something else. I like skyblock style maps like Agrarian Skies or Crash Landing where you start with nothing. But I need some 'guidance' in these maps, or I'll get bored very quickly

Make a crook out of sticks. That will get you crazy amount of saplings. Also can drop silk worms that can be used on trees and creates a lot of string.
