Wesley's ribcage, core, abdomen area has major issues unfortunately. It's all out of sorts, asymmetrical and his upper left rib sticking out. You can see these issues at 9:48 when he takes off his shirt. It seems to get worse over time. Genetics? Sure but it's not going anywhere. He will simply never have the clean, symmetrical look

I think Wesley is better at peaking on contest week compared to last year. A combination of that, and the improved physique he currently has will cause him to place higher this year.

I think it also took him a little while to adjust not just to peaking on schedule but to the fact that criteria for conditioning is the same as it is for open bodybuilding and is in no way moderated towards what some would consider a classic level.

I'm a natural bodybuilder and used to do warm up sets on every exercise and do loads of sets ,no energy and losing muscle mass ! So now I do high intensity like Dorian Yates and my muscles are blowing up ,and Ive also noticed I can eat more and still gain more muscle but strangely really drop my body fat ,which I found really hard training with the other system ! ! I no people are going to say ,well you just didn't eat enough in the first place , let me tell you I did but I just gained mostly fat and now it's all muscle ! ! So I do one warm up set and two working sets all to failure ! And I use partials and negative reps !

Chris doesn't even look like a Classic Era Bodybuilder. Mean while Wesely does and does not get higher placings for it. The Classic Physique Division is clearly going in the wrong direction by awarding more of a downsized Mens Open Bodybuilder look like Chris Bumstead and not awarding those athletes that actually resemble Classic Era Bodybuilder. If Classic Physique Division keeps going in the direction it is the meaning of Classic will be destroyed and classic Era Bodybuilders dishonored. Chris Bumstead is not Classic, he is more so has men's open bodybuilder look. And what's worse is the judges are rewarding this. The entire division should be fucking washed or choose a new name if they aren't going to have athletes like Wesley higher placings for actually looking like a Classic Era Bodybuilder.

@@pijopiwnik that's a misrepresentation as well! There is no debating what "Classic Physique" actually means. It means Arnold, Zane, Draper, Nubret, Banout. It's simple the athletes should be awarded for looking like the Classic Era Bodybuilders not looking like a downsized men's open bodybuilder. The show should not be judged that way. If the show is judged by the same standards as the open (mass and conditioning) then the Classic Physique Division would be left in darkness.

Because Arnold is not the one who chose who will be Mr. Olympia. There is a panel of jugdes and they rate physiques. Arnold has his own competition, Arnold Classic, and even there he is not the jugde, but the owner of the whole event. And yes, Wesley has amazing physique indeed.
